Many in the legal field assume that eDiscovery is all about search. Sylint understands that electronic discovery is comprised of three main phases. While search is just one important part of this process, there are other critical components that are essential for an efficient retrieval of relevant data. Sylint team members are experts in both the legal and technical areas of electronic discovery. We assist our clients through all stages of a case from developing and enforcing the initial preservation process, through each step of the search process, and to providing expert testimony at hearings and trial process.

Searching for relevant Electronically Stored Information (ESI) is a combination of science and art. Through our research and experience working on cases valued from thousands to billions of dollars, we have found many ways to save our clients time and money while conducting tailored, exacting and cooperative electronic discovery. We build on our unique talents to create solutions designed to parse through gigabytes and terabytes of data quickly and efficiently, and provide a focused, iterative process for the search and production phases.

Sylint has created a number of proprietary tools to assist our clients to more easily prepare for and conduct electronic discovery. From discovery rubrics helping delineate cooperation versus concealment, to internal online software for initial document review, Sylint experts work with each client to make the process as efficient as possible. Sylint chaired track sessions on computer forensics and electronic discovery at the First Annual ABA Electronic Discovery and Digital Evidence Practitioner’s Workshop. Sylint is a participating member of the American Bar Association’s Electronic Discovery and Digital Evidence Committee and the Sedona Conference™.
